High Point Notes:
• The Panthers have had a week off following a 4-0 thrashing of Winthrop last Saturday at Vert Stadium. Sophomore Jonathan Bolanos tied a Div. I school record with four goals, including a hat trick within 12 minutes.
• Bolanos, who was named the Big South co-Attacking Player of the Week, became the second player in HPU history to score four goals in a match, but the first against a Div. I opponent.
• Keegan Meyer earned his fourth shutout of the year with three saves against Winthrop. He was honored with his second Big South Defensive Player of the Week award for his efforts.
• Meyer has turned the corner over his last seven matches. In that stretch, he has allowed just four goals in 687:25 in net (0.52 GAA). The sophomore leads the Big South in GAA (0.50) and save percentage (.889) in conference games.
• HPU has won or tied 34 of its last 47 games (23-12-12) dating back to 2015. Of the 47 matches, 33 have been decided by one goal or ended in a tie.
• High Point has played five overtime matches this season, including four 2OT games. With the tie at App State, 21 of HPU's 53 games under EJ O'Keeffe have needed OT. HPU holds a 3-4-14 record when extra time is needed.

Gardner-Webb Notes:
• Gardner-Webb enters Saturday's match at 2-2 against Big South competition with victories over Presbyterian and Asheville, and setbacks to Liberty and Radford.
• The Runnin' Bulldogs pace the league in points (91), goals (32), goals per game (2.67), and assists per game (2.25). The 32 goals are seventh in the NCAA while the 2.67 goals/game rank third.
• Severin Soerlie (10G, 4A) and Magnus Moldjord (9G, 2A) are the top two scorers for the 'Dogs. The two rank ninth and 18th, respectively, in the nation in points per game.
• Jacob Beyer has a 1.96 GAA and .696 save percentage in net.

Series Notes:
• High Point and Gardner-Webb square off for the 15th time in school history on Saturday.
• The Panthers have owned the all-time series, earning a result in 13 of the previous 14 matchups. HPU is unbeaten in the last six matchups (4-0-2)
• Last season, HPU and Gardner-Webb battled to a 1-1 draw at Vert Stadium. Johnny Fenwick scored the goal for the Panthers in a game which High Point outshot Gardner-Webb, 20-11.
• High Point has the potential to clinch a conference tournament berth with a win and a Winthrop loss on Saturday.
