            • High Point remains undefeated on the season with a 4-0-1 record after picking up a 1-0 win over Marshall on Wednesday, Sept. 14, at Vert Stadium.

Ben Hietala scored the game winner against the Thundering Herd in the 85th minute. The Panthers have scored the game-winning goal in each of their past three wins in the final seven minutes of regulation.

Chris Ramsell and redshirt-freshman 
Bana Ganidekam were both honored by the Big South Conference on Monday after combining for all three goals in HPU's win at Loyola. Ramsell was named the Offensive Player of the Week and Ganidekam the Crons Brand Freshman of the Week. HPU has now earned four Player of the Week honors this season, including all three Freshman of the Week nods.

Siggi Benonysson leads the Panthers and is first in the Big South with 10 points on a conference-best four goals and one assist. Ramsell and freshman 
Ryan Inman join Benonysson as multiple goal scorers this season with two apiece.

Keegan Meyer has started every game in goal for the Panthers and has a 0.96 goals-against average with a .688 save percentage.
            • High Point's 4-0-1 start to the season is the Panthers' best start since 2012 when they started 10-0-1 on their way to a 12-5-3 record.
 
USC Upstate Notes:
            • USC Upstate is 2-2-0 on the season following a 3-1 loss at Appalachian State on Tuesday.
            • The Spartans have played three games against Big South opponents already this season, picking up wins over Presbyterian College and Gardner-Webb and losing to Liberty.
            • Upstate has scored six goals through the first four games with half of those coming from Joel Bunting who leads the team with seven points.
            • Santiago Restrepo and Davis Smith have both played two games in goal for the Spartans. Restrepo is 2-0-0 with a 0.50 goals-against average and three saves while Smith is 0-2-0 with a 2.00 goals-against average and six saves.
