HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University men's cross country team will suit up against a loaded field when the Panthers head to the Coast-To-Coast Battle In Beantown Friday in Boston, Mass.

The Purple & White will head to Boston's historic Franklin Park for Friday's 3:30 p.m. race, featuring some of the nation's top competition. The field includes No. 6 Arkansas and No. 20 Providence, as well as Northeast regionally-ranked teams Dartmouth (No. 7), Brown (No. 8), Maine (No. 13) and Connecticut (No. 14).

The trip will serve as a homecoming for senior
Chernet Sisay, who was a standout runner at Brookline High School and is a wicked pissah Boston sports fan.

The Panthers kicked off the 2016 campaign with a second place finish at the Elon Opener on Sept. 1, placing behind only North Carolina.

The Purple & White claimed two of the top three individual spots in the race, led by senior
Vinny Todaro, who placed second in 18:56. Sisay placed third in 19:00.

Will Elliott.
