CHARLOTTE, N.C.— After an impressive Panorama Farms Invite performance, Max Bonilla, of the High Point University Panthers men's cross country team, has once again been awarded Big South Conference Freshman of the Week. Bonilla finished with an 8k time of 25:07.3 and placed 65th overall. 

The Elizabeth N.J. native finished in front of runners from the likes of Wake Forest University, Ohio University, the University of Virginia, and Virginia Tech. This is Bonilla's second freshman of the week honor. His first honor came after a 6k run at the Friday Night Lights Elon Opener where he clocked in with a time of 18:43.3. 

The postseason is next for Bonilla as the men's cross country team will compete in the Big South Conference Championships on Halloween, October 31st, in Farmville, Va.
