East Tennessee State Notes:
           • East Tennessee State split two exhibition games during the preseason, losing at Virginia Tech by a score of 3-1 and earning a 6-0 home win over Milligan College.
           • Seven different players scored a goal for the Buccaneers in the two games.
           • East Tennessee State was picked third in the SoCon Preseason Poll behind UNCG and Furman. Both Joao Ramalho and Fletcher Ekern were named to the preseason All-Conference team.
           • ETSU finished the 2016 season with an 8-7-4 overall record and a 4-4-2 mark in the Southern Conference.
           • Ekern was the team's leading scorer last season with 23 points on 10 goals and three assists.
           • Sophomore Jonny Sutherland returns in goal for ETSU after finishing with a 1.19 goals-against average in 19 games last season.
