HIGH POINT, N.C. – High Point University outfielder Tim Mansfield and vaulter Jill Marois have been named the Lindsay Properties HPU student-Athletes of the Week.
 
Mansfield, a redshirt-junior, hit .600 (9-15) with a double, five RBI, three runs scored and four walks in four games against Wake Forest and Campbell this week. Mansfield recorded at least one hit in every game and multiple hits in three games, including a 4-5 performance with a walk, an RBI and two runs scored in a win at Campbell on Sunday. The outfielder also stole his 10th base of the season during the week's action. 
 
Marois wrapped up her Big South career with a third conference title in pole vault competition. The senior set a new career-best clearing 4.15m (13-7.25) before vaulting 4.22m (13-10) to set a new meet record. The vault moved her into the top-15 in the NCAA East Region and was the No. 2 vault in Big South history.
 
HPU student-athlete of the week honors will be given to one male and one female High Point University student-athlete each Monday throughout the 2015-16 academic year.
