HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University women's basketball team is back in action after 10 days off to take on Spring Hill College at 2 p.m. on Saturday in the Millis Center.

Kat Harris paced the Purple & White with 15 points while sophomore
Emma Bockrath racked up 12 points, 13 rebounds and three assists in the setback.

• High Point paced the conference in free throw percentage in 2015-16 hitting 75 percent of its attempts. This year, the team is tied with Winthrop for the top spot after making 98-of-140 (70 percent) in its first eight games.

Kat Harris leads the league in three-point percentage while
Kaylah Keys is sixth. Behind the backcourt duo, HPU leads the conference making 47 of its 137 attempts from beyond the arc this year (34 percent).

Kat Harris has caught fire the last two games averaging 17.0 points and 3.0 assists. During that span, she is shooting 52 percent from the floor (11-21) and 55 percent from three-point land (6-11).

• Eight different Panthers have posted double-digit scoring efforts this season led by
Kaylah Keys and
Lindsey Edwards with four such performances this year. Last season, the squad only featured seven players with a double-figure scoring outing.

Emma Bockrath owns the third best assist-to-turnover ratio in the league posting 1.3 assists per turnover. She also is the only player in the conference to average 8.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game.

HPU will welcome back a dozen former players for the game on Saturday including Spring Hill head coach Karen (Curtis) McConico, who is the program's all-time leading scorer. McConico's assistant, Amy (Dodd) Calhoun, is also a former Panther.

The Panthers and the Badgers will meet for the first time on Saturday in the Millis Center.

Against the South Atlantic Intercollegiate Conference
The Panthers are 2-1 versus current members of the SAIC. The most recent matchup came in a 1995 matchup against Fort Valley State, which HPU lost. The wins came against Paine in the 1995 opener and Kentucky State during the Purple & White's run to the 1978 AIAW National Championship.

Scouting the Badgers
The Badgers enter Saturday's showdown with a 4-4 record after earning a 83-67 victory over Shaw on Thursday night in Raleigh, N.C. Freshman Elise Reilly leads the team in scoring (13.8 ppg) after drilling six 3-pointers on Thursday en route to a 22-point performance.
