#2 High Point Notes:
           • High Point claimed the No. 2 seed in the Big South Men's Soccer Championship with a 1-0 win over Campbell in Buies Creek, N.C., last Wednesday. The win pushed the Panthers' undefeated streak to nine in a row and gave HPU an 11-3-4 record heading into the postseason.

Chris Ramsell scored his ninth goal of the season in the win over the Camels and High Point held on for the final 29 minutes down a man after a red card.

Siggi Benonysson was named the Big South Freshman of the Year and a first-team All-Big South selection on Friday after finishing the regular season with 24 points on 10 goals and four assists. He is tied for the Big South lead in goals scored and is second in overall points.

           • High Point enters the week ranked fourth in the nation in scoring at 2.28 goals per game. The Panthers are second in the country in shots per game and have outshot their opponents 308-172.

Keegan Meyer has started 17 games in goal for HPU and is 10-3-4 with a 0.99 goals-against average and a .727 save percentage in his first collegiate season. He has five shutouts on the season and has allowed more than one goal in just four games.

#6 Longwood Notes:
           • The sixth-seeded Lancers advanced out of the Big South Quarterfinals with a 3-1 win at No. 3-seed UNC Asheville on Saturday. Longwood got two goals from Dan Campos and one from Connor Rea to advance past the Bulldogs.
           • Longwood finished with a 3-5-0 record in Big South play this season with wins over Campbell, Gardner-Webb and Liberty.
           • Three Longwood players were named to the Big South All-Conference teams with midfielder Finnlay Wyatt named to the first team and both Campos and goalkeeper Carlos Canas named to the second team.
           • Wyatt leads Longwood in goals and is second on the team in points this season with 16 on five goals and six assists. Campos is tops on the team with 20 points on four goals and a league-leading 12 assists.
           • Canas has played 15 games in goal for the Lancers and is 6-7-1 with a 1.58 goals-against average and a .750 save percentage.
