HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University women's basketball team is back on the Millis Center floor at 7 p.m. on Thursday to take on Brevard College.

The Panthers (0-1) opened the season with a setback to a tough Ohio squad while Brevard is 1-1 on the year with a win over Bob Jones and a loss to UNCG.

KEYS' CLIMB
• Senior
Kaylah Keys is 93 points from tying Shamia Brown for HPU's Division I scoring record. She also is within striking distance of breaking HPU's D-I record for three-pointers and free throws made.

• The Memphis, Tenn. product ranks 21st in scoring in Big South history and needs 20 points to move into the top-20. Likewise, she needs 14 three-pointers to move into the top-10 on the league's three-pointers made list.

• A season after replacing nine departures with seven new faces, the Purple & White only have to replace one player from last season's team -

Thanks in part to
Kaylah Keys coming off the bench, the HPU reserves recorded half the team's points (24 of 48) and 22 of the squad's 42 rebounds. Sophomore
Lindsey Edwards led the team with 11 points off the bench while sophomore
Shea Morgan paced the team with 11 boards as a reserve.

A LOOK AT BREVARD (1-1)
Brevard College is 1-1 after opening the year with a 77-34 setback to UNCG before besting Bob Jones by a score of 73-65 on Tuesday night. The team is paced by Madison Lennox who leads the team in points (13.0/game), rebounds (11.0/game) and assists (3.5/game). Meanwhile, sophomore AnnaLee Bollinger tallied a team-high 17 points against Bob Jones on the strength of five three-pointers.
