HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University volleyball team looks to regain momentum as it heads to Presbyterian and Charleston Southern this weekend.
 
The Panthers (14-7, 5-3) come into the weekend after dropping its last two matches at UNC Asheville and at home against Campbell. Meanwhile, the Blue Hose is off to a 2-5 start in conference play as the Bucs are second in the league with a 5-1 mark.

WEEKEND NOTES
• Junior Haley Barnes has racked up 913 kills in her career at High Point and is just 87 away from becoming the 10th Panther with 1,000 kills in HPU's Division I era.
 
• Barnes has a team-leading 11 double-doubles on the year and 32 for her career.
 
• The middle blocker duo of sophomores Molly Livingston (.360) and Jordan Hefner (.355) are first and second in the conference in hitting percentage in league games.
 
• Hefner is averaging 1.21 blocks per set in Big South matches, which is the second best mark in the league.
 
• In the team's eight Big South contests, Barnes is averaging 3.52 kills and 3.41 digs per frame, which ranks fourth and eighth in the league, respectively.
 
• The Blue Hose are eighth in the league in hitting percentage (.160) and ninth in opponent hitting percentage (.205).
 
• Charleston Southern is one of the top defensive squads in the Big South ranking second in digs (17.85/set) and third in blocks (2.23/set).

Due to the cancellation of their previously scheduled match, High Point and Charleston Southern will face off again on Friday, Oct. 28 in the Millis Center. HPU with then host Winthrop the following afternoon.
