High Point Notes:
            • High Point set a new program record for goals scored against a Div. I opponent in its 7-0 win over UNC Asheville on Saturday, improving to 8-3-2 overall and 2-1-0 in the Big South.
            • Both senior Chris Ramsell and freshman Siggi Benonysson had two goals in the win for HPU while junior Poli Rodriguez, redshirt-freshman Bana Ganidekam and freshman Connor Cesar all scored once.
            • Benonysson was named the Big South Attacking Player of the Week after scoring four goals in wins over NC State and UNC Asheville. He also was listed on TopDrawerSoccer's Top 100 Freshman list at No. 36.
            • High Point ranks second in the nation in goals per game with an average of 2.69 per contest. The Panthers lead the country in shots per game and have outshot their opponents 242-122.
            • Benonysson leads the Big South with nine goals and 21 points. Ramsell sits just behind Benonysson in third with seven goals and 18 points.  Ramsell is also tied with Ganidekam is tied for third in the league with a team-high four assists.
            • Redshirt-freshman Keegan Meyer has started 12.
 
Winthrop Notes:
            • Winthrop dropped a 2-0 decision at Radford over the weekend and now sit at 3-8-1 overall and 0-4-0 in the Big South.
            • The Eagles are winless in eight-straight games with a 0-7-1 record in those contests.
            • Winthrop has managed just 11 goals in 12 games this season and have been shutout five times. The Eagles have scored seven of their 11 goals in three games.
            • Rasmus Arousell leads the WU attack with 10 points on a team-high four goals and two assists. James Skonicki and Francesco Tiozzo also have multiple goals on the season with three and two respectively.
            • Ken Perkinson has played the majority of minutes in goal for the Eagles and is 1-8-1 with a 2.25 goals-against averahe and a .589 save percentage.
 
Series Notes:
            • High Point has just six wins in 24 all-time meetings with Winthrop, going 6-15-3 in those games.
            • The Panthers and Eagles met twice last season, tying in both games. The two teams played to a 1-1 draw during the regular season then played a scoreless draw in the Big South Championship. Winthrop advanced to the NCAA Tournament over HPU in penalty kicks.
