WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – In what's becoming a feat as regular as the Sun rising in the east and setting in the west, senior Jamie Schnuck once again broke her school record in the weight throw Friday to lead the Panthers at the Camel City Classic.

For the third time in as many meets this season, Schnuck surpassed her previous record mark by a significant margin. Amongst a highly competitive field at JDL, the Oconomowoc, Wis., native placed ninth Friday with a throw of 16.52m (54-2.50).

Her school record-breaking throws this season have included 15.80m at the JDL Kickoff Classic, 16.11m at the Wake Forest Invitational and now 16.52 at the Camel City Classic.

"Jamie is really starting to figure things out," associate track & field head coach Scott Hall said. "She opened with an excellent throw and put together a solid day. It will be exciting to see her continue to top her own mark as the season progresses."
