LIVE STATSLIVE VIDEOHIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University men's soccer team hosts fellow High Point school Laurel University in non-conference action on Sunday, Oct. 4, at 7 p.m., in Vert Stadium.
The Panthers are 3-3-3 on the season following a 0-0 draw with Presbyterian College on Friday. The shutout was the third in a row for HPU. The team has not allowed a goal in 299 minutes of action. Redshirt-senior

Avery Ryan are all tied for the team lead this season with three points on a goal and an assist. The balanced High Point attack has seen seven different players score one goal through the first nine games of 2015.
Palmer is 3-3-2 on the season with a 0.60 goals-against average and five shutouts. The Panther defense ranked sixth in the nation in goals-against average entering the week.
Laurel University is 1-6-1 this season, including a 7-2 loss at Gardner-Webb in September.
High Point and Laurel met at Vert Stadium last season when the Panthers picked up a 10-0 win. Ryan set an HPU Div. I single-game record with four goals in the win.
