COMPLETE RESULTS

The High Point University men's cross country team sent five runners to compete in the Hagan Stone XC Classic on Saturday at Hagan Stone Park in Greensboro, N.C. HPU junior Jonathan Riley led the Panthers with a third-place finish and HPU took third as a team.

Riley completed the 8K course in 26:47.01 to lead HPU with a third-place finish. Freshman Chris Colo placed eighth in 27:25.73 and senior Mike Feroe was the Panthers' third finisher in 11th with a time of 27:29.38.

Freshman Michael Colven placed 14th with a time of 27:37.06 and junior Anthony Kilar placed 28th with a time of 28:45.91.

The University of North Carolina's club team won the meet with 53 points, edging a squad from UNC Greensboro's score of 54. HPU scored 58 to place third, well ahead of Duke's club squad (108).

Catawba College's Christian Crifasi won the race with a time of 26:34.45.

Most of High Point University's team competed in the Paul Short Invitational on Friday in Bethlehem, Pa. HPU next competes in the Blue Ridge Open at Appalachian State on Oct. 14. High Point runs in the Big South Championship on Oct. 29 in Conway, S.C.
