High Point came strong out of the break. In the 52nd minute the Falcons committed a costly foul. Dan Haywood took the direct kick that found Archer inside the box again where he connected for his second goal of the game and his 11th goal of the season.

"Our offense had a spectacular game tonight," said High Point head coach Peter Broadley. "Our defense needs to play a little tighter, but hopefully tonight's win will give us momentum and confidence heading into our next game.
Pfeiffer's Matthew Harris scored in the 63rd minute to pull the Falcons within two but it wasn't enough to overcome HPU.
