High Point got a second-half goal from freshman Chelsi Parrado to draw even with host Liberty Tuesday night and hold on for a 1-1 tie.
The Panthers improve to 1-2-1 on the season, 0-0-1 in Big South play.
Freshman Chelsi Parrado scored the Panthers' lone goal in the 50th minute off an assist from Jen Evans to tie the score. Liberty's Sarah Gantner had given the Flames an early lead with a goal in the 4th minute of play.
HPU keeper Courtney Noel made four saves and allowed just the one goal in 110 minutes in the net.
The Panthers outshot Liberty (1-3-1, 0-0-1 Big South), 15-13.
High Point hosts UNC Wilmington on Sunday at Albion-Millis Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1:00 pm.
