Sara Davis' game winning goal in the 116th minute gave Campbell University's women's soccer team a 2-1 victory over High Point at the Eakes Athletics Complex.

Campbell's first opportunity came in the 18th minute when Kari Belcher's cross was headed high by Erica Cruse.  Just minutes into the second half Campbell midfielder Marissa McEntee tried to chip the keeper but hit the cross bar.

The game's first goal was scored in the 55th minute when High Point's Carolyn Bader broke free of the defense and placed one in the net's right corner.

Campbell tied the game at 1-1 when Danielle Hange played a ball over the defense to Jessica Simon who scored her fourth goal of the season.

In the second overtime period, Campbell's first scoring chance came in the 113th minute when Davis' blast from 15 yards out hit the cross bar.

Davis knocked home the game winning strike on a cross from Megan Barnes.  Davis received the pass and blasted a shot from 18 yards over High Point's goalkeeper Cindy Watts.  The goal was Davis' tenth of the season and her fifth game-winner.

Campbell improves to 11-4 overall while High Point drops to 2-10-1 on the season.

The Camels outshot the Panthers 18-10.  Campbell's Jamie Olson recorded five saves, while Watts stopped five for the Panthers.
