Kadie Snipes is in her second year as the Director of Athletic Communications at High Point.  She joined the staff in October 2022 as the Associate Director of Athletic Communications, and served as the main contact for men's basketball, baseball, volleyball, and men's and women's golf. She was promoted in June of 2023 to the Director roll and has transitioned to the contact for men's basketball, men's lacrosse, volleyball and both track and field teams. In August of 2023, she earned her Master's degree in Sport Management from Western Carolina University.

As the Director of Athletic Communications, she handles all website information, social media sport pages and media relations. 
 
A native of Chapel Hill, N.C., Snipes comes to HPU from NCAA Division III Methodist University, where she served as the Assistant Sports Information Director for 20 varsity sports. While at Methodist she assisted with game-day operations at all home athletic events, while also managing the website and social media accounts.

Snipes briefly served as the Marketing and Promotions Intern at Division II Francis Marion University, before returning to her alma mater in late 2021.While at Francis Marion, she worked alongside the Athletic Director and Sports Information Director, assisting with game-day promotions, social media graphics, and operating the Daktronics System during both volleyball and basketball seasons. 

She is a 2021 graduate of Methodist, where she earned a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Sport Management. While at Methodist, started all four years on the women’s basketball team, earned Academic All-Conference honors, and tied the school record for three-pointers made in a game (6).  
 
As a student-athlete, she served as a work study student for the SID, assisting with game-day operations for various sporting events (including in-game promotional contests), kept scoreboards and game clocks, and created visuals and graphics to promote games and events on campus. She also completed a semester-long internship under the Deputy Director of Athletics and was an executive board member for the Student-Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC), holding the social media position.  She was also a member of the Sport Management Club, and was in charge of public relations and social media.
