Hana Vander Galien joined the High Point Sports Medicine staff in August 2022. During her first year at HPU, she served as one of the athletic trainers for the Cross Country and Track & Field programs. During the 2023-24 academic year, Vander Galien will be the athletic trainer for volleyball.
Born and raised in Chanhassen, Minnesota, Vander Galien attended Hope College in Holland, Michigan where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Athletic Training in 2021. She went on to obtain her Masters of Science in Exercise Science from Aurora University in 2022 while serving as the Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for Aurora’s Cross Country and Men’s Volleyball teams during the 2021-2022 seasons.

Vander Galien is a Certified Athletic Trainer, member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, and licensed in the state of North Carolina.
