2021: Played and started 27 games for the Panthers. ...Collected a .239 batting average in 88 at-bats and 21 hits. ...Registered 12 runs, four doubles, a triple, 14 RBIs, and a .307 slugging. ...Posted 12 walks and a .327 on-base percentage. ...Named All-SSC Defensive Player of the year in the center field position having a perfect fielding percentage in 70 putouts. 

Personal: Samuel was born on June 13, 2002... Son of Wendy and Jeff Schner... Has one sister Julia who played volleyball at Princeton University... Sam graduated from Spanish River High School in 2020... He was a two sport athlete playing Basketball and Baseball... He was listed on the 2019 All Palm Beach County Basketball Second Team, 2020 All Palm Beach County Basketball First Team, and 2019 All Palm Beach County Baseball Second Team... Recorded over 30 dunks in three seasons for Spanish River Basketball... At Florida Tech, Sam was honored with being a 3x All Defensive Team in the Sunshine State Conference, a 1x All-Region Defensive Team, 1x Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week, and was on the 2022 All-Valley League Defensive Team... He came to High Point for the Baseball program and the beautiful campus.
