Darla Bixler joined the High Point University women's lacrosse staff as the Director of Operations in 2026. The HPU alumna served as an assistant coach from 2019-2023 and now re-joins the staff in a new role.
From 2023 to 2024, Bixler served as the Recruiting Director for Ultimate Lacrosse Carolina and Charlotte. As the Recruiting Director, Bixler guided players and families through the college recruitment process.
Bixler — formerly known as Darla Poulin during her days in Purple & White — scored 93 goals and assisted on 40 goals in 52 games for the Panthers from 2015-18. She tallied 55 goals and 24 assists in the 2017 season and helped lead High Point to its first-ever NCAA Tournament victory against Towson. In 2017, she was named the HPU Athletic Department's Breakthrough Athlete of the Year. As a player and coach, she's helped the Panthers win nine Big South Conference Championships.
She graduated from High Point in 2018 with a degree in business administration with a minor in accounting. She was a member of the Dean's List, the Big South Presidential Honor Roll and was a Millis Scholar-Athlete.
