2025: Started in all 58 games... slashed .389/.477/.774 with a conference leading 22 home runs, 24 doubles, and drove in 78 runs... finished top-10 in the nation in doubles, slugging percentage, total bases (181), rbi (78), and T-12 in hits (91)... registered 28 multi-hit games, while tallying 18 multi-rbi games in 234 at-bats... tallied a season-high four hits at Winthrop (5/16), and a season-high 8 rbi at Radford (3/29)... went 14-15 swiping bags... boasted a .951 fielding percentage while splitting time between third and first base. 

2024: Started all 62 games ... a .300 hitter, had 12 home runs, 18 doubles, two triples, 46 RBI, and scored 60 runs on 223 plate appearances ... an OPS of .986 and a OB% of .425 ... successfully stole 14 bags on 15 attempts ... had a four RBI night at the plate against UMass-Lowell (2/17) ... scored four runs and drove in two against Richmond (3/23) ... hit two homers and had five RBI in the BSC tournament against Charleston Southern (5/24) ... posted a .981 fielding percentage, turning 44 double plays.                                                                                                                                                                                                     
2023: Appeared in 31 games, starting 18 ... hit a .170 batting average ... 12 RBI and three home runs ... had a six RBI game on two hits in a win against Lafayette (3/5) ... hit two home runs in Big South matchups (USC Upstate 3/25) and (UNC Greensboro 4/4) ... held a near perfect .985 fielding percentage turning eight double plays. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Played baseball at Cosby all four years under Head Coach Dean Grant... played basketball his junior and senior year for Head Coach Ron Carr and played one year of football his senior year under Head Coach Pete Mutascio... in baseball, Bayden was selected to the 2022 first team All-State... voted the 2022 Virginia 6A Player of the Year... he also earned a spot on the 2022 first team All-Metro selection... in 2021 he was apart of the 6A Region Championship... he was voted the Cosby High School Male Athlete of the Year and was also a member of the Beta Club, National Honor Society, and Varsity Club.

PERSONAL: Brayden Kealy Simpson was born on December 22, 2003... he is the son of Brad and Jennifer Simpson... he has one sibling, Brooks... his father, Brad played baseball at VCU and Longwood and his mother, Jennifer played tennis at Longwood.
