Hackett is entering her first season with the High Point University sports medicine office and serves as the athletic trainer for the women’s basketball program.
The Boise, Idaho native comes to HPU after completing a year at Charleston Southern University. During her time with the Buccaneers, she served as an athletic trainer for the football and women’s basketball programs.
During 2017-2018, Hackett served as the athletic trainer for the men’s basketball team at Vanderbilt University, while completing her Master’s degree.
Prior to her time at Vanderbilt, Hackett was at the University of Idaho. While there, she assisted with the men’s and women’s track and field team.
