Kelly McGuire joined the High Point University athletic training staff in August of 2014 and will work primarily with the HPU men's soccer program.
McGuire received her master's degree in Exercise Science with a Sports Medicine Concentration from the University of Delaware. While at Delaware, McGuire worked primarily with the women's soccer team while also providing out-of-season coverage for men's soccer and field hockey.
McGuire earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut. She worked with various teams as a student Athletic Trainer, including the Connecticut football team, the University of Hartford women's soccer team and the Sussex County Skyhawks, a professional baseball team. She also worked with both East Catholic High School and Glastonbury High School and with Select Physical Therepy.
McGuire is a a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association. Originally from Sparta, New Jersey, she now lives in High Point, N.C.
