High Point University Athletics

Coupar joins the High Point University men’s soccer staff as the Director of Operations after spending the last year as a volunteer assistant Coach at Carolina University. During Josh’s time at CU, he helped them win a south region championship, qualify for a spot in the NCCAA National Tournament and reach the first double digit win season in the history of the program.  

Josh graduated from Grace College where he was a part of a the 2019 class that were key contributors to the program winning its first Crossroads League title and earning an NAIA tournament appearance in 35 years. During his summer’s, Josh spent his time playing for NPSL side Torch FC and USL 2 sides Carolina Dynamo and Peachtree City MOBA, respectively.

After graduating, Josh played for Lancing FC for 18 months before returning to the US to pursue coaching soccer. Off the field, Josh graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management.

Josh was born in London, England and lives in Winston Salem, NC with his wife Alexia.
