Logan Wisnauskas might have had the most dreamlike spring and summer of any college lacrosse player ever. He gets picked to wear the legendary number one at Maryland, joining the likes of Joe Walters, Mike Chanenchuk, Matt Rambo, Connor Kelly, and Jared Bernhardt becoming just the 16th Terp to wear the single digit. Wisnauskas led Maryland to a perfect 18-0 season and the fourth Maryland National title. He was drafted #1 by the Chrome in the Premier Lacrosse League Draft and then was the 2022 recipient of the Tewaaraton.Â

Anytime you can welcome one of the best young minds and one of the games greatest players to your program it's exciting. As a staff we knew how special a player Logan was having both the opportunity to watch and compete against Logan. Upon interviewing him it was clear that he was a leader, an incredibly bright lacrosse mind, a person who wants to make coaching a career and an amazing human being. His work ethic, passion and character are going to fit right in with our program. We look forward to having him help our program take another great step forward."

PLL Chrome Teammate and HPU Alum, #77Â Kevin Rogers:Â "Logan is the type of teammate that will make your entire team better on and off the field and I think he will do the exact same as a coach. His knowledge of the sport will go along way as well. Being an alumni, I know that Coach Torpey, Coach Broschart, and Coach Tuma will love his dedication to the sport. All three of those coaches bring intense attitude and I know Logan will match that. High Point is a special place to me and best of luck 12!"
University of Maryland Head Coach, John Tillman:Â "Logan is a great addition to any organization. Logan was selfless, hard working, dedicated and focused on being the best version of himself over his time at Maryland. Team success was more important than points or awards. He'll be a great mentor and role model for the next generation of college lacrosse players. Logan was raised by a great family and a host of terrific coaches when he was young and you could tell they focused on all of the right things. He succeeded on the field but also in the classroom so he'll be someone that will impact his players in a variety of ways. This is very exciting news."
Providence Head Coach and Former University of Maryland Offensive Coordinator, Bobby Benson: "High Point just got better by hiring Logan Wisnauskas. Logan is the consummate professional. His success as the best player in the country came from his work ethic and his dedication to learning as much as possible about the game. The young men on at High Point will benefit greatly from his knowledge and understanding of the game. Logan has consistently improved in my time knowing him due to his hard work and dedication. His recent stretch of success is impressive and I am continually amazed at what he is able to do on the lacrosse field."
