Nate Bollinger

Nate Bollinger

16856Nate Bollinger was named HPU director of player development in September 2015.

In his first season with the Panthers, Bollinger helped High Point win the Big South regular season title for the fourth-straight year and advance to the National Invitation Tournament for the second time in three seasons.

Bollinger came to HPU from York College in Pennsylvania, where he served as an assistant coach in 2014 and 2015.
 
"I am very excited to add Nate to our coaching staff," Cherry said. "Everyone I talked to in the interview process raved about his work ethic and ability to get along with people. Nate will be an asset to our program in developing our players as we make a run at a fourth Big South title."
 
At York, Bollinger served as the program's recruiting coordinator while managing camps, operations, player development and serving as the staff's lead opponent scout.
 
Bollinger played his college basketball at Millersville University, where he served as team captain as a senior while leading the Marauders in assists. He earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from the university in 2014.
