Matt Price joined High Point University's Strength & Conditioning team in September 2023. He will work with the Panthers' men's soccer, women's lacrosse, and baseball programs.

Price comes to HPU after spending over a year down the road at Wofford College, where he worked with men's and women's soccer, along with the men's and women's track and field teams since January 2022.
    
During the spring of 2022, he worked with six individual Southern Conference Champions in track and field. Women’s golf finished second in the league, while men’s golf was third in the SoCon. He also worked with men’s and women’s soccer, men’s tennis and assisted with football.
    
Prior to Wofford, Price was a strength and conditioning intern at Campbell University. He assisted in the design and implementation of strength, speed/plyometric, and conditioning protocols for football, women’s lacrosse, wrestling and cheerleading.
    
Price, a native of Dillon, S.C., received his bachelor of science in exercise science in December of 2019 from Campbell. He added a masters of education degree in December of 2021 with a concentration in exercise science. While at Campbell, he was a four-year letterman on the football team and he was a 2019 Preseason All-Big South selection. He is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
