Bailey Van Gorden joined the High Point Sports Medicine staff in November 2023. She will be the lead athletic trainer for the HPU baseball team.
Van Gorden is originally from Jordan, N.Y. She earned her associates of math and science from Mohawk Valley Community College in 2019 before continuing her education career at State University of New York at Cortland, where she earned her bachelor's degree in exercise science in 2021.
Upon graduation from Cortland, she went on to earn her master's in athletic training as she graduated from Cortland in 2023. While at Cortland, she worked with field hockey, gymnastics, baseball and football as well as completed an all-immersive clinical experience at the University of South Florida with the men’s and women’s track and field and cross country programs. I am a NATA member.
