Bell joined the baseball program as a Student Assistant Coach in August 2017. Bell is a junior at High Point and former player of the team, who was a two-time Millis Scholar Athlete. He appeared in five games in 2017, posting a 2.35 ERA in 7.2 innings.
 
A native of Summerfield, N.C, Bell is a Business Administration major with a minor in Finance. His responsibilities include assisting in day to day maintenance of the program, developing the pitching staff, and aiding with in-game charts as well as bullpen management.
