Biography

2020: Appeared in all 16 games, batting in 15 of them and starting four on the mound for HPU on Sundays ... Had 16 hits with a batting average of .286 ... Ended the year on a seven-game hitting streak, the longest active streak when the season ended and tied for the longest on the year for the Panthers ... Led the team and conference with seven doubles on the year ... Had a 2-1 record on the mound with an ERA of 4.86 ... Threw 17 strikeouts in 16.2 innings while only issuing four walks ... Made his season debut on the mound against Lafayette and went 5.0 innings while striking out seven and giving up just one run on six hits and no walks. Hit the game-winning home run in the top of the sixth before exiting the mound with the victory (2/16) ... Went 2-3 with three RBIs and hit his second home run in as many games in the win at N.C. Central (2/18) ... Picked up two hits, one of which being a double, in the loss at #17 East Carolina (3/1) ... Went 2-4 with a pair of doubles, RBIs, and runs scored against James Madison (3/6) ... Had another multi-hit game with a double in the final game of the year against UNCG (3/10) ... Millis Scholar-Athlete.

2019: Received NCCSIA All-State Designated Hitter honors ... Big South All-Tournament Utility ... Led the Panthers with a .324 batting average and 39 RBI ... Delivered nine doubles, a triple and four homers ... Drove in three runs on a pair of hits at Old Dominion (2/15) ... Went 2-for-3 with three runs driven in and his first homer of the season at NC A&T (2/27) ... Recorded the second triple of his career at James Madison (3/10), driving in three runs on a pair of knocks ... Opened up six-game hitting streak with a 3-for-4 afternoon at USC Upstate (3/24) recording his third homer of the season ... Went 8-for-14 (.571) over a three game series against Charleston Southern (3/29-31), crossing home plate four times, and driving in four runs ... Also tossed a quality start against CSU (3/31), surrendering two earned runs over 6.0 IP ... Tied a career-high with 7.0 inning start against Longwood (4/14) ... Struck out five during a 6.1 inning quality start at Presbyterian (4/20) ... Delivered four straight winning decisions on the bump (3/31-4/20) ... Hit in every game against UNC Asheville (4/27-29) finishing 6-for-11 at the plate ... Tied a single game program record with six knocks against Presbyterian in the Big South Tournament (5/23) ... 2018: Emerged as weekend starter for Panthers, appearing in 10 games with five starts on the mound ... Went 4-0 overall with a 4.42 ERA in 36.2 IP, allowing 27 H, 21 R, 18 ER, 12 BB, 26 K ... As a starter, was 3-0 with a 2.97, allowing three earned runs or fewer in four of the five starts ... Struck out a career-best six in seven innings in a victory over Campbell (5/5) ... Tossed 5.1 scoreless innings in a win against Liberty (4/21).

Also appeared in 22 games as a hitter, batting .207 with two home runs and 12 RBI ... Was plunked to force in a run and reached on an RBI infield single in the game against UNCG (4/10) ... Added onto the Panthers lead in the 8th inning with a pinch-hit solo home run over Winthrop (3/30) ... Collected three hits and drove in three runs against William & Mary (3/3/18) ... 2017: Appeared in 11 games, all in relief ... Posted a perfect 3-0 mark with a 4.79 ERA in 20.2 IP, allowing 24 H, 11 R, 11 ER, 8 BB, 19 K ... Pitched 2.0 innings of scoreless relief in which he struck out two and allowed just one hit to earn his first collegiate win over NJIT (2/19). 

Prep: Graduated from South Johnston High School ... Four-year letter winner ... Finished with a career .404 average and 21 home runs ... Named three-time first-team All-Conference ...
