HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University volleyball team will be hosting the annual High Point Invitational this week, beginning on Thursday, September 17th and continuing through September 18. This will be HPU's first time hosting the tournament since the 2024 season as the team welcomes Wofford College and North Carolina A&T to the Millis Center while also hosting a neutral site matchup with Wofford and Wake Forest.

Wofford vs. Wake Forest - September 18 at 4:00 pm (neutral site game)
High Point vs. N.C. A&T – September 18 at 7:00 pm
The Opponents:
Wofford College
Wofford opened the 2026 season with a 3-0 record after defeating Winthrop (3-0), Davidson (3-1), and Presbyterian (3-1) at the Wildcat Classic. The Terriers also picked up a win over Clemson (3-1) on Sunday, bringing their overall record to 6-3. Leading the Terriers offense this season is Chloe Smith with 121 kills overall, averaging 3.46 kills per set. She has been helpful on defense with 89 digs this season. Head Coach Lynze Roos enters her 12th season with Wofford and has led the Terriers to three consecutive Southern Conference Championships from 2023 to 2025.
N.C. A&T
N.C. A&T enters the invitational with a 5-4 record for the season. The Aggies are led by the reigning Rookie of the Year Tyne Ross, who serves as a major leader on both sides of the court. Ross leads the team with 137 kills, averaging 4.03 kills per set. Along with leading the Aggies in kills, she also leads the team in digs this season with 76, averaging 2.24 digs per set. Coach Hal Clifton is in his 16th season. Under Clifton, the Aggies have made the CAA tournament over the past two seasons.
