HIGH POINT, N.C. — High Point University Athletics has announced a broadcast partnership with WSJS and the Triad Talk Network for the 2026-27 academic year.

The new alliance is to support elevating the brand of HPU Athletics to its current fans, students, and others across the Triad and beyond. Conversations about HPU Athletics can now be heard daily by host and HPU Alum Steven Beck on WSJS, which is aired on AM600 and 93.7, 101.5, 103.1, 104.9FM, and the Triad Talk Network.

• Waking Up Prowled Show: Saturday Show from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
• The Daily Pulse: Daily Monday-Friday Show from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
• HPU Coaches Shows: Monthly (October-March) at Sweet Old Bill's from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., then aired on the Waking Up Prowled Show

There are a trio of HPU Coaches Shows scheduled, beginning on Oct. 6, Nov. 10, and Dec. 8. Additionally, HPU Athletics will announce a Student-Athlete of the Month who will be sponsored by TTN and promoted on the radio and digitally.

Beck also hosts a Prowled Panthers Podcast, which showcases HPU Basketball, and will be aired on WSJS throughout the week. Recently, HPU Athletic Director and Vice President Dan Hauser joined Beck to talk HPU hoops heading into the 2026-27 year. The Prowled Panthers Podcast can be accessed on all major podcast platforms and on TTN.
