HIGH POINT, N.C. — The annual High Point University men's soccer move-in game was yet another successful event as 2,013 fans filled Vert Stadium Saturday night to cheer on the Panthers.

The Spirit of HPU Band played loud and proud, while the HPU freshman class, returning students, and the community all joined to make their presence known in the Panthers' 3-1 victory over Queens University of Charlotte to cap the preseason slate unbeaten.

Head Coach Zach Haines: "Welcome to the new freshman class at High Point University. We are so appreciative of this opportunity every year. We are appreciative of the university, and to the families and the students. It's such a wonderful way to cap off preseason, where we know we come back home and we play in front of an awesome crowd. It wraps up our preseason and we feel fully prepared to start next week with the regular-season schedule. I'm just very grateful and we look forward to this every year."

In three exhibitions matches, the Panthers outscored opponents 6-1, with the lone goal coming in the final minutes versus Queens.

Sarantakos led the way with a pair of preseason goals as Aiden Bazzell scored in the 1-0 win over third-ranked Furman. Sarantakos and Enzo Rekka netted a goal in the 2-0 win at Wofford, while VandeHei and Nwokeji joined Sarantakos with a goal apiece in the 3-1 victory against Queens at home on Saturday.
