HIGH POINT, N.C. - The High Point University men's basketball team and Louisiana State University men's basketball team have agreed to a matchup during the 2026-27 season. HPU will travel to Baton Rouge, Louisiana on December 18th to play the Tigers for the first time in program history.
This will be the 31st Power 4 opponent the Panthers take on in program history and after capping the 2025-26 season under first-year Head Coach Flynn Clayman with a 31-5 record and a win over No. 5 Wisconsin in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, HPU has been looking to strengthen its schedule. LSU becomes the second P4 team on the 2026-27 slate so far.
