CHARLOTTE, N.C. — High Point University women's lacrosse midfielder Anna Mullikin has been voted by league coaches as Big South Conference Freshman of the Week, which was announced by the conference office on Tuesday. 

Mullikin was named a starter for the first time in her collegiate career against the Radford University Highlanders after scoring her third goal of the season and securing seven draw controls against Wofford College. This past week, the freshman scored three more times, dished out an assist against Furman University, and found herself securing another 12 combined draw controls. Mullikin also caused one turnover against Furman University.

This is the first conference award in the young career of Mullikin as she earns the Panthers' second straight weekly award.
