ITHACA, NY. – The High Point University men's lacrosse team stayed in New York for a quick turnaround non-conference game at No. 6 Cornell University. After making the first punch, the Panthers fell 17-9 to the Big Red.
"It was awesome to be able to square up with the returning national championship team," Head Coach
John Crawley stated, "and they competed that way. Hats off to their team and staff for how prepared they were and how hard they played. I think it was a great weekend for our team to get closer... spending four days together, playing two games. I think there's a lot for us to keep building off of heading into our last regular season game. For now, it will be great to have some extended time to get these guys healthy, recover and dive back into the film."
