HIGH POINT, N.C. — This week in High Point University Athletics, women's golf kicks off the week participating in the Daniel Island Invitational as well as the Sapona Women's Collegiate on Monday and Tuesday. Baseball hosts a midweek showdown against Liberty University on Tuesday before traveling to take on No. 10 Florida in a weekend series. Men's lacrosse hosts No. 14 Virginia at home on Tuesday, while women's lacrosse takes on Elon on Thursday. Women's basketball is the No. 1 seed in the Big South Tournament and will play their quarterfinal game on Thursday morning. Men's basketball is also the No. 1 seed in the Big South Tournament, earning a bye until the Panthers' quarterfinal game on Friday afternoon in Johnson City, Tenn.
