HIGH POINT, N.C. — This week in High Point University Athletics, women's golf competes in the Rivertowne Invitational in Charleston until Tuesday. Men's golf participates in the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate in Hilton Head on Monday and Tuesday. Baseball heads to Winston-Salem to face ranked Wake Forest on Tuesday in a mid-week showdown before hosting a four-game weekend series against the University of Maine. Women's basketball faces UNC Asheville on Wednesday before facing Gardner-Webb on Saturday. Men's basketball hosts UNC Asheville on Thursday for the ESPNU wildcard game before a conference clash against Winthrop on Saturday for the top seed. Men's and women's track and field compete in the Virginia Tech Challenge and College Last Chance meets on Saturday. Women's lacrosse hosts No. 11 Navy Saturday morning, while men's lacrosse travels to take on No. 10 Ohio State to round out the week.
