HIGH POINT, N.C. - The Big South Conference has announced its weekly awards for the week of February 15 - February 22 as High Point University's E'mar Fleming II was named the Big South Freshman of the Week. 

Fleming II put together a big week at the plate, batting .455 after going 5-for-11 with three runs scored, six RBI, two home runs and a double. He posted a 1.091 slugging percentage and reached base at a .455 clip. His standout performance came Saturday against Maine, when the freshman delivered a go-ahead three-run homer in the seventh inning—his second long ball of the game after a solo shot in the fourth—finishing with four RBI. Fleming II stayed hot in Sunday's series finale, recording two more hits, highlighted by a two-run double in the seventh inning to help secure another High Point victory.

The Panthers are back on the diamond tomorrow, February 25 at Liberty University for a 4:00 p.m. first pitch.
