HIGH POINT, N.C. – High Point University is excited to announce that the HPU Rowing boat house construction is underway and set to be completed in the summer of 2026.

"This boat house is a blessing for our program and will drastically improve our day-to-day operations and help the growth of our program for years to come," HPU Rowing Head Coach Jessica Deitrick said. "I am grateful to our city officials and campus administration for making this dream come true!"
 

This boat house will be the home of HPU Rowing where they will store boats and equipment used to compete at a Division I level. The one story, 7,810 square-foot building will house a team meeting room, lockers, two bathrooms, an athletic training space along with equipment for both the women's rowing team and club rowing team.

The boat house is located right off Waterview Road in High Point, N.C., with easy access to Oak Hollow Lake where the team practices and hosts regattas.
