CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The High Point University men's cross country team has opened up the season ranked second in the Big South Conference. The team sits just behind first-ranked Charleston Southern. The Panthers look forward to having a successful season and attempting to achieve the team's first championship in over 10 years.
High Point did receive one first-place vote, as they start the season one spot higher than in 2024. The team is coming off a second-place finish in which they competed in six different meets. They opened up last season with a fifth-place finish at the Covered Bridge Open.
