HIGH POINT, N.C. - The NCAA Division I Women's Golf Committee announced the teams and individuals to participate in the regional rounds of the 2025 Division I Women's Golf Championships on the Golf Channel on Wednesday afternoon.
Julia McLaughlin will represent the High Point Women's Golf team as an individual in the first round of the Division I Women's Golf Regional at the Lubbock, Texas Regional Site.

Lyndsey Hunnell stated. "This will be a really fun event for her and all off us. Jules and I have never been to Texas so this will be a adventure."
The Seedings are Set
The Lubbock regional site will be played at the The Rawls Golf Course, hosted by Texas Tech. Regionals will start on May 5 and finish on May 7. Each regional site will comprise 12 teams and six individuals (not on one of the selected teams). Five teams and the leading individual not on an advancing team from each regional site shall advance to the final site. San Diego State will host the Championship rounds on May 16-21 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, CA.

McLaughlin's 2025 Season
This will be McLaughlin's first time playing at the NCAA Regionals in her career. She was crowned the Big South Individual medalist at the Big South Championships after scoring a 4-over 220, winning her first collegiate tournament of her career. She also earned spots on the All-Conference second team and the All-Championship team while at the Big South Championships. During the regular season, she was named a Big South Golfer of the week on Feb. 13, 2025.
