High Point to Face Purdue in NCAA Tournament

HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University men's basketball team is going dancing for the first time in program history after earning an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. The Panthers have been selected as the No. 13 seed and will play No. 4 seed Purdue in the First Round on Thursday, March 20 in Providence, Rhode Island at the Amica Mutual Pavilion.

"I'm feeling relieved," Head Coach Alan Huss stated. "As a college basketball coach, you move from task to task and there's very little time to be down and not have something to think about. It's nice to have an opponent to focus on. We will turn all of our attention towards preparing for Purdue."
