High Point, N.C. – High Point University will host the Big South Volleyball Tournament for the fourth straight season. HPU was announced as the host after winning the Big South Conference regular season during the 2024 campaign. The tournament will begin on Friday, November 21st with the quarterfinals, followed by the semifinals on Saturday, November 22 and the Championship on Sunday, November 23rd. The Panthers earned the No. 2 seed with a bye to the semifinals and will play the winner of the 3/6 seed matchup on Saturday at 6:00 p.m.

Regular Season Recap
High Point finished the regular season with a 16-9 overall record and a 12-2 record in league play. The Panthers registered eight sweeps during the season with the most recent sweep in the last regular season game over Radford. HPU is led on the attack by Élodie Lalonde with 311 kills in her 83 sets played, averaging 3.75 kills per set on the outside. The duo of Maya Bukovcan and Addison Freeland have been a threat at the net in the middle, combining for 182 blocks this season while Bukovcan 218 kills and Freeland put down 205 kills. Directing the offense, freshman Remy Catojo leads the team in assists with 618. Kea Whillock guides the team on the back row in the libero spot totaling 357 digs to average 4.06 digs per set. Following the regular season, the Panthers had five players named to the Big South All-Conference teams with Bukovcan named the Freshman of the Year.
 
NCAA Tournament - How Does it Work?
The winner of the Big South Volleyball Championship will earn an automatic bid to the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The selection show will take place on December 1st.
 
The Fan Experience
Parking
Shuttles will be run for volleyball spectators from the Qubein Center Parking Lot located off of North University Parkway. These shuttles will begin an hour and a half prior to the start of each match and will end an hour after the match is completed. Limited spectator parking will be available in the Steele/Witcher Parking Lot and the Cafey Hall Parking Lot. Additional spectator parking can be located at the College Village Parking Lot located off of East Lexington Ave.

Admission
Admission will be free for all fans attending any of the the Big South Championship matches.

Concessions
There will be a full concession stand just outside the gym in the main hallway with hot dogs, pizza, nachos, pretzels, popcorn, chips, candy, soda, and water. The concession stand will take both cash and credit/debit cards.

Clear Bag Policy
Clear bags will only be permitted for HPU events. All other bags will be subject to search before entry. In addition to bag checks, fans will be required to walk through metal detectors prior to entry for the scheduled event.
