Charleston, S.C. – High Point men's basketball made the long journey south to take on the Buccaneers of Charleston Southern for the second match-up this season on Saturday afternoon. Juslin Bodo Bodo led the way each scoring double figures. Giffa went 5-for-14 from the field and 9-for-10 from the line to drop 20 points. Thiam registered 16 points driving to the paint going 7-for-12 from the field. Bodo Bodo collected a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
"I am proud of our teams' effort on the defensive end today," Head Coach
Alan Huss said. "Our front-line guys did an excellent job limiting post touches and our pick and roll defense was solid for most of the game. We are excited to get home and turn our attention to a hungry Winthrop team that dominated us for most of our first game."
