HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University men's basketball team hosted Carolina University on Tuesday night inside the Qubein Center for the team's eighth home game of the season. Remaining undefeated at home, the Panthers defeated the Bruins 99-31.
"These games are always interesting right before Christmas playing a non-division I," Head Coach
Alan Huss stated. "You find out a little bit about how committed to the process your team is and that's what we talked about tonight. There were four or five things that we could control and we wanted to try and stay true to those no matter what the score showed on the scoreboard. I thought our guys for the most part did a nice job… we were a little dead to start the game but our first unit off the bench gave us some energy. I was really pleased with that last group that plays on our scout team a lot of the time. I thought they came in and flew around and really defended, so I was pleased."
