ROCK HILL, S.C. – The High Point University Volleyball team stayed on the road this weekend with a matchup at Winthrop on Saturday afternoon. The Panthers handled business against the Eagles to remain unbeaten in conference play with the teams sixth sweep of the season.
"I thought we rode the roller coaster a little bit but always found ways to score when we needed them," Head Coach
Ryan Meek commented. "A huge performance from Dylan statistically but so many timely contributions throughout the match from everyone.
Jordyn dug 25 balls the last two sets. Arica and BayLea shut down the net and got us transition opportunities all night. Eve with two huge kills late in the back and forth third set and a huge block to give us a lead.
It wasn't always pretty but we found a way to get the job done."
The Panthers opened set one with a dominating lead to start the match. High Point's early runs helped later down the stretch when Winthrop attempted to close the gap. The Panthers went up 8-2 and 18-11 after a service ace from
