The third set witnessed the Panthers offense and defense firing on all cylinders. A combination of big-time blocks and big-time kills pushed HPU to the 25-22 win. A stretch of kills from

th point of the set.
Carrying the momentum into the fourth set, the Panthers started off hot with an 14-4 lead after hammering it down from the outside and the middle. Experiencing some turbulence after remaining ahead 18-12, seven kills by Wofford made it a close game. The Terriers earned the last three points to force a fifth set.
The fifth set was a nail biter. The highest lead of the set was just two points by either team. There were six tie ups after the 10-10 score with Wofford taking a one point lead in four out of six times. The Panthers made it count at the end with a kill from Maberry followed by a Terrier error for the 17-15 victory.
