CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Big South Conference released its player of the week selections for the third week since beginning regular season play. Two Panthers secured awards, including
Christine Graf as the Player of the Week and
Eve Wilson as the Freshman of the Week. This is the third straight week HPU has had a player earn a weekly award with Wilson earning her second consecutive Freshman of the Week honor.

Graf reached a big milestone over the weekend, earning her 1000th career point on Friday night in High Points home opener. She led the night with 10 kills going 10-for 18 for a season-high .500 hit percentage. She also added four blocks and three digs. In the first game of the week, a five-set thriller over Wofford, Graf notched 22 kills, tying her previous career-high set her freshman year in 2019 at CBU. She hit for .349 and added two blocks. Rounding out the week with the Panthers third win, Graf collected 12 kills and three blocks.
Eve Wilson | Freshman | MB | Sandy, Utah
Wilson was steady throughout the week, totaling 23 kills on the week, averaging 7.6 per game. Dominating on the block, she totaled 18 with a season-high seven versus ETSU on Friday night. Wilson led the team in blocks against Wofford (5) and ETSU (7). Earning her best hitting day against Davidson on Sunday, she went 8-for-15 for a .533.
